I first heard of Infernal Affairs when I was in Singapore but never got a chance to watch it. I heard it was a brilliant crime thriller ever to come out of Hong Kong. And sadly it was only after I had watched Departed first that I came onto it. I liked the direction in the Departed but other than that the story, acting and screenplay is solid in Infernal Affairs. The pacing and tension is well executed, the lead ladies were little distracting but overall I liked the movie a lot. I will have to watch again.
