The Reunion
Another Spielberg movie 'The Color Purple' made from the Pulitzer prize winning story by Alice Walker is both beautiful and emotive depicting the emacipation of women. Celie, Nettie, Mr, Shug, Sofie and Hopar. The central story is about Celie who is separated from her sister Nettie and her world is closed down by Mr., she finds courage through love when everything seems impossible. The separation scene between the two sisters is very hard to watch and the reunion scene is really well done.
